X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Name: JULIAN KELLER

Date of Birth: October 29, 1991

Powers: Telekinesis

Status: X-MAN - AVAILABLE FOR APPLICATIONS

Scion of a wealthy LA family, Julian Keller attended the same school as Doreen Green and Nico Minoru, enjoying a privileged position as one of the popular crowd. That changed when he manifested his telekinesis. Tricked into joining a criminal mutant gang thinking they were superheroes, Julian was eventually sent to Xavier’s and reunited with his former schoolmates. His tenure as a student was a notable one, with old foes coming back to haunt him as well as new rivalries getting him into trouble. Eventually he graduated, although he mourned the loss of friend Nicholas Gleason, believed killed in an attack on the graduation ceremony, and began dating Nico. An incident with her powers in 2011 unnerved both of them and she broke up with him, leading to a night of debauchery and several months of lying low, before he took up his father’s offer of a chance to learn the business and returned to LA. Julian is, however, a superhero at heart, and he continues to work with the West Coast Annex.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Eldest son of the sprawling Guthrie clan, Sam Guthrie left Kentucky to attend Xavier's as a high school student when he manifested his powers of thermokinetic propulsion during a mine cave-in. He remained at the school for many years, despite sometimes feeling guilty about 'abandoning' his widowed mother to raise his siblings alone. However, his role as an X-Man was just as important to him. When his sister Paige and brother Jay eventually came to the school as their own mutations surfaced, Sam found the family reunion was a bit more difficult than he'd anticipated. Jay's transformation into a killing machine in particular hit home, and when Jay went to Muir Island for therapy, Sam joined him to help him through.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Clarice Ferguson first arrived at Xavier's on Christmas in 2003. A teen with a bad mouth, she had been dumped at the school by parents that didn't know what to do with their rebellious, purple daughter. Initially jealous of the other more-normal looking students, Clarice fell in with Sarah Morlocke and Jonothan Starsmore, but soon learned that some things were more important than friendship. She and Shiro Yoshida dated for a while, until she discovered that he was addicted to Kick. Her next relationship, with Kyle Gibney, ended on mutual good terms. Wary of most of the adults, Clarice faced the world on her terms - or not at all. With this outlook on life, she trained for and became one of the few high school EMTs in Westchester County, working both for the county and in the medlabs at Xavier's and volunteering with Red X. In an ironic twist of fate, the same girl that hid under Sarah's bed during an attack on the school, grew up to become an X-Man. In February 2010 she took a break from the school and the team in order to focus on her medical school classes.

Theresa Cassidy: A resident at the school since her early teens, until recently Terry has made Xavier's - and the X-Men - her life. Fiery and passionate, Terry's relationships with her father, Sean Cassidy and her young husband, Bobby Drake, have always been tempestuous and marked by long separations. Following her completion of her college degree, Terry relocated to Cassidy Keep to join Bobby and hopefully pursue a career in Interpol like her father. Whether her plans and her marriage succeed is yet to be seen, but she knows she always has a place to return to, especially now Bobby has returned to the X-Men.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Lorna Dane. A long-term resident of the mansion and member of the X-Men, Lorna's history has been a rocky one. Captured by the Brotherhood and possessed by the Malice collar, the experience overturned everything she had built in her life until that point, including her relationship with Alex Summers. Another relationship with Remy LeBeau also failed and eventually Lorna decided she needed to move on, accepting post-graduate education at Berkeley University in May 2008. Following a number of powers issues, she went to Muir Island for further tests.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

The man known as Wolverine knows little of his past. A product of Stryker's Weapon X program, which bound the unbreakable metal adamantium to his skeleton and gave him three foot-long retractable claws housed in each forearm, he was discovered running feral in the Canadian wilderness by Heather Hudson and her husband, John McDonald Hudson, who took him in and christened him 'Logan' after the nearby mountain. He and Marie D'Ancato came to Xavier's after being targeted by Sabretooth and Magneto, and after the events of X2, they both remained as part of the X-Men. A relationship with Marie ended during a 2-year long sojourn in Canada with Alpha Flight, and the two remain close friends, almost family to each other. Upon returning to the school in 2006, he kept to himself, assisting X-Force with their combat training and forming a short-lived relationship with Sarah Morlocke. The arrival of Garrison Kane, another Alpha Flight alumni, helped. Eventually, after the Wendigo incident, Logan realised he needed to mentally regroup, and returned to Canada and Alpha Flight, intending not to return until he had regained control of his beserker-like tendencies and felt he could call himself 'human' again. The massacre of the new Alpha Flight team has finally prompted him to take off again, looking to join Marie in her search of the perpetrators.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

David North: The former Stasi agent first came to the notice of the X-Men after his Weapon X conditioning broke and he found himself fleeing Omega Red, vague memories of Logan driving him to seek asylum at the school. He disappeared after Omega Red was defeated, casting off his true identity as Chritophe Nord and becoming David North, maverick agent, before resurfacing again in early 2009. Again he needed help from the X-Men, as Daniel Lyman had double crossed him and activated the Shiva protocols, a failsafe used by Weapon X in the event of an agent gone rogue. With the help of Betsy Braddock and X-Force, North was able to "deactivate" the conditioned agents sent after him and found himself being offered a job with X-Force. In September 2009 he went deep undercover in Europe, for an unspecified amount of time, seeking information on mutant weaponisation programs.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Artie Maddicks has been at the school for most of his life, and he has no memory of his time with the Morlocks, this aspect of his history only revealed by older survivor Sarah "Marrow" Morlocke identifying him. Artie has a blue, forked tongue, much like a lizard's or a snake's, which renders him unable to speak. He is compensated by the ability to project images or 'psychic holograms' of varying complexity, as well as using sign language. No longer one of the 'little ones' of the school, he is ready to plunge into the drama that is Xavier's high school life.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Scott Summers: Brought to the school as an angry product of the foster care system after the death of his parents in a plane crash, Scott was groomed as leader of the fledgling X-Men team and as joint-headmaster (with Ororo Munroe) of the school. His world was shattered with the apparent death of long-time love Jean Grey and over the next few years he gradually pieced things back together, discovering his younger brother Alex and his grandparents were alive and developing an on-again, off-again relationship with British telepath Betsy Braddock. Jean's return changed everything and eventually the two married. In October 2006 he lost an eye, the unexpected side-effect being that he finally gained control of his optic blasts and no longer needed the trademark ruby quartz visor.

Although his marriage almost collapsed with the appearance of Jean's alter-ego, bent on destruction, Scott managed to weather that and Jean's subsequent departure after his own capture and torture. Over the next few years Scott gradually matured into his role as leader of the X-Men, dealing with everything from Magneto taking over a space laser to giant purple dragons. In September 2009, following some particularly fraught months, Scott and Jean relocated to the West Coast Annex under Charles' instructions to assist in forming an active team based on the west coast.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Piotr 'Colossus' Rasputin. With the ability to turn himself into super-strong organic steel, Piotr was the powerhouse of the X-Men for some time. He came to the school as a directionless young man and worked hard to better himself. With his strong belief in family, his little sister Illyana was the centre of his world, until her abduction into the demonic realm of Limbo aged her eight years and completely changed the relationship between them. Unable to reconcile the suspicious, secretive teenager to his "Little Snowflake", Piotr eventually disowned her. The move was an unpopular one, and even Piotr's relationship with Warren Worthington wasn't enough to keep him at the school, the pair moving to the West Coast Annex in 2006. Time, however, changes all things, including what we had currently held onto as above all else, and with Illyana's new job with X-Force and a split with Warren, anything is possible.

Jacob Gavin Jr., is also known as 'Courier' as a result of his long-standing employment with his family's company, Infonet. Jake is a molecular-level shapeshifter, able to control every cell in his body and effect changes as minor as altering his eye colour, or as major as changing his entire gender. Stuck in a woman's form after X2, Jake came to Xavier's for help, somehow ending up as co-student counsellor with Pete Wisdom. Having regained his control again, Jake returned to Infonet, only to be coerced by Remy LeBeau into becoming a resource for intel-type matters, and later for X-Force when he was fired from Infonet and had an arm "stolen" by unknown assailants, later identified as part of the mysterious New Son organisation. X-Force became a haven for him, but when the pressures of interpersonal relationships got too much, Jake did what he does best and ran. New Son is still out there, however, and Jake may find he needs his friends yet again.

Jean-Paul Beaubier, a prominent sports star before his X-factor status resulted in him being stripped of his Olympic medals, is also a vocal defender of mutant and gay rights. Orphaned at a young age and separated from his twin sister Jeanne-Marie, the Quebecois went from humble origins to join Canada's experimental mutant team, Alpha Flight as "Northstar". It was with this team that he was reunited with his sister, their relationship always a rocky one. When he joined the X-Men for a time, interested in teaching the next generation of mutants, Jean-Paul's flight, speed and invulnerablity proved valuable. He returned to Canada after only three months, however, as Jeanne-Marie's mental state became more unstable and they decided to seek treatment for her. It proved to be an unsuccessful plan, Jeanne-Marie turned violent, accidentally killing Jean-Paul's beloved cat and injuring him before fleeing. He spent a year searching unsuccessfully for her, before returning to the school to resume his teaching position. It was not without turmoil, as an old enemy resurfaced and a new one came close to taking his sanity. There was an unexpected benefit in the form of Jeanne-Marie's sudden return, drawn by his pain, but eventually Jean-Paul agreed that some distance from the school would help his recovery and the twins relocated to Muir Island.

Jean Grey: Almost two years after her 'death' at Alkali Lake, Jean Grey returned to the mansion, believing herself to be an amnesiact woman by the name of 'Jane'. She recovered her memory and resumed her place in the school and the team, eventually marrying longtime romantic interest Scott Summers, but part of her subconscious resented the loss of her simpler life in Vancouver and with some 'help', possessed herself, almost destroying Jean's life. Even after she returned to her right mind, Jean retained a darker edge, showing a distinct lack of X-Men-like mercy to opponents. She has joined Scott at the West Coast Annex to establish the new X-Men team for the West Coast: it will be interesting to see what this change will reveal in Jean's multi-facted personality.

Sarah Vale. A newly-manifested technopath Sarah was home-schooled before her parents used their political connections to find a more beneficial environment for her to learn about her powers. Sarah's time at Xavier's was brief, but she found a mentor in Forge and a friend in Catseye, after an initial wiggins when she discovered the friendly purple cat was actually a classmate. Eventually, however, the separation from her family and especially her identical twin sister - oddly yet to manifest as a mutant - was too much and Sarah returned home, perhaps to try Xavier's again in the future.
